Module 4 – Hate Speech and Bullying

Learning Objectives

• Understand the root causes and societal perceptions contributing to anti- SOGIESC hate speech, misinformation, and violence;
• Develop the ability analyse hate speech and bullying targeting LGBTQIA+ individuals;
• Create practical tools and manuals for youth and youth workers to support anti- hate training initiatives;
• To support youth workers in designing effective and inclusive policies, laws, and awareness campaigns;
• To provide resources on identifying and combating misinformation that promote hate speech and bullying.

• Identify and critically analyse the root causes of hate speech, stereotypes, and violence against LGBTQIA+ communities (Knowledge + Skills);
• Conduct research and interpret data related to public perceptions and misinformation on SOGIESC topics (Skills);
• Identify and manage bullying incidents in schools and workplaces (Skills + Competence);
