About
Inclusive GeNder and sexual orIenTEation navigation for transformation anD emPOWERment
Individuals within the LGBTQIA community in the EU continue to face risks while publicly displaying affection, openly expressing their sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression, be it in their personal or professional lives. As a result, they are unable to be themselves freely without experiencing a sense of danger or intimidation.
As an Erasmus+ initiative, IGNITED-POWER is on a mission to combat the prejudice and marginalization of LGBTQIA+ youth. Through inclusive education, participatory research, and cross-sector collaboration, the project empowers young people to become agents of change in their communities.
By bridging policy, practice, and youth voices, IGNITED-POWER promotes equity, combats SOGIESC-based prejudice, and strengthens social inclusion.
