Universidad Del Pais Vasco (UPV)
The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) is a teaching and research institution officially founded in 1980. The university employs over 7.500 people in 31 faculties and schools distributed in three different campuses, with more than 57.000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The UPV/EHU offers the highest number of doctorate programmes of all Spanish universities, one third of which have received a mention of excellence from the Spanish Ministry of Education. The UPV/EHU has been recognised as an International Research Campus of Excellence by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MICINN), and in 2021 was awarded the HRS4R award by the European Commission for human resources excellence in research.
Xenios Polis. Culture, Science and Action
XENIOSPOLIS is an NGO, an educational and research organization established in Athens for the scientific research and the organization of social welfare & training programs for local communities members, and youth audiences, bringing them together for the contemporary challenges of the community, through also Youth and School Training Programs.
It began in the heart of social transformation, a few years ago, and it was founded initially by two teachers who wanted to create an impact for their audiences, beyond the formal education schemes, and mainly for the solidarity, respect, and antidiscrimination behaviors in the society. They wanted that they don’t just provide education, but a revolution of knowledge and mentality, tailored to the demands of the modern world, liberating minds, providing well-being, cultivating inclusion, and fostering true progress, personal, social, professional for ALL.
GenderLens Aps
GenderLens arose five years ago from the need to create a space of information, listening, and sharing in Italy, where sexual orientation and gender diversity in childhood and adolescence are not considered a pathology or a problem to be solved but one of the many expressions of human diversity. To make this possible, it is necessary to act, not to limit or change the child or adolescent’s behavior, but by educating
people and institutions to respect all identities and expanding the social imagination. Only through active involvement in the social sphere of young LGBTIQ+ people can it grant them the freedom and confidence to explore their gender identity and sexual orientation wherever their journey takes them, free from fear, isolation, and discrimination. A few years ago, GenderLens chose to take up this challenge, becoming the most critical association in Italy for families of children and adolescents with non-normative gender behaviors. Currently, GenderLens is an Italian charity association mainly formed by LGBTIQ+ youths, their parents, and professionals with expertise in sexual orientation and gender diversity. All the association staff is volunteers (about 25 people), and nobody gets paid for their activity.
ACCEPT-LESBIES, OMOFYLOFILOI, AMFISEXOUALIKOI, TRANS (LOAT) KYPROS
Accept–LGBTI Cyprus is a volunteer-led non-profit organization, overseen by an eight-member board, and in operation since 2009. It was officially registered in September 2011, aiming to protect, assert and promote the fundamental rights of Cyprus’ LGBTIQ+ people, including vulnerable and intersectional groups. Currently, it is the only registered LGBTI organization in the Republic of Cyprus, with 500+ registered members, 300 active members, and some 24,000 followers across its channels. Accept’s actions are focused in two main areas: promoting and raising awareness about the LGBTI community in Cypriot
society, and advocating for LGBTI-inclusive Cyprus legislation. In 2023, given the fierce backlash by conservative elements to age-appropriate sexual health education, and the threat posed to same-sex couples with children, the organisation has prioritised lobbying on behalf of Rainbow families.

the need to enhance youth and individuals interest in growing by learning, transforming the education and learning processes into a joyful and exciting adventure, based on equality and tolerance among peers.
